why number only in reg plate (merc)

Old Oslo number, they ran out of letters on the old registration plates so went to just numbers until the new registration plates types arrived.

Now something very special and rare has come up for sale here and from what I've read the finest truck you could buy at the time.

1933 Diamond T 211 delux 11,700 pounds was bought new by a chocolate factory in Norway, was most likely requisitioned by the Germans during the war and somehow managed to survive a long and hard working life and was restored in the 80s and hit the road again in 1991 if it could talk, it would have some stories to tell.

Cheap Lada has been owned by young drivers so has been used hard and has previously had a turbo and has been painted with a roller.

1987 Lada1600 755 pounds.

@egg the early Mondeo is still for sale think they will struggle to sell it. Cars like this are struggling a bit here, as they are too old for people here to use them as a car and few are interested in them as a hobby car. And is this still considered early? Can't remember, it was registered at the beginning of November, so it was made in autumn/summer?

I see what you mean. It's quite early as in first year of production - so black bumper tops, and it will have a cable clutch/cable speedo all the original 'launch spec' things they started to upgrade and change in 94. Pre-production started around December 1992, and main production built up from January 1993, the earliest registered car left in the UK was registered 1/2/93. And Alberto Green with Pumice interior is a nice combination. I hope someone does save it.
