Just driven through town after dropping the nutty one of at work. As I suspected it's a sea of taxis trying to do 227mph and gobshites in thin short sleeved shirts with thermal tattoos.Sitting at home avoiding amateur drinkers and enjoying AutoShite is absolute bliss.*It is a bit worrying seeing 17 year old birds like that dark haired bint and realsing I'm too old to even think about it.Even more worrying when my lad bought his girlfriend (17) round a few months back who was bloody gorgeous.The following day when his mother enquired to how she was Cav junior simply remarked 'I've dumped by text' and when asked why said 'because I couldn't be bothered walking to her house any more'.I'd have crawled across thirteen miles of broken glass dressed only in my Y fronts if I had been his age :(

Just popped out for a fag, its only quarter to nine and there is some fucking mekon letting fireworks off already......dick....wonder if his watch is fast... :evil:

Technically, I think we should have waited until the end of 2001. After all, you're not 20 until the end of your 20th year. All bollocks anyway as I'm pretty sure the calendar got screwed up somewhere - which might explain why we celebrate Jeebuss's birthday twice. Mind you, in anti-whinge news, the Beeb always have good stuff on for New Years - guitar heroes is excellent, and the Hootenany is always good though, (as this is the grumpy gits thread after all) Jools Holland can piss right off wit his nasely voice, shite intervew techniques and 'ooh look at me play' piano plonking. Yes, you're good. We don't need reminding.

But you do spend a year being 0 years old. Our calendar should have started at 0, but it started at 1. What worries me more is that I'm about to enter my sixth decade. :shock:

It is the end of the decade. The 1920s does not include 1930, just as the 1930s, 1940s etc do not include the year that starts the next decade.

We start the decace at the zero, same as the century.
