My 40th birthday was crap due to lockdown just coming in in march . This was unavoidable and something what was needed . Any way I've decided to cheer myself up and aquired a new project . It's rare , wasnt very popular , any guesses . Sadly I won't be collecting it in person ,it's getting delivered tomorrow afternoon.

They're all popular with me, except that modern mini thing. I'll guess a Beta.

Monte Carlo?

I remember one of those in the workshop at the Jag/Rover/Triumph dealership where I worked in the parts dept donkeys ago, needing a new starter motor. After much head-scratching, the workshop team decided the only way to change it was to remove the engine first.

I bought a Prisma from the local auction back in 2003 or thereabouts.  It was a 1.6 injection with Alcantara seats, fading red paint and a very noisy CV joint.  Went like the clappers though, would leave my mate's Orion 1.6i for dead.  I paid £80 if memory serves.

A rare old bus nowadays - A friend's father had one back in the early noughties - Same vintage / colour.  I remember copious amounts of alcantara and the fact that it shifted very well for a 1600cc vehicle.

Looking forward to seeing more 😃

That looks lovely,  in a great colour too, a great birthday present. I was not aware of these cars, it is very stylish compared to most cars from that period, well bought.
