Call that filtering?  Pussy.

In the last couple of seconds there’s a Simca giving him trouble, and it’s not even the twin carb model😳

I went to see that at the cinema. It a great film, and is far far better than the cliched shite like the Canonball Run films.

It's actually based around the 2nd cannonball run.

Splendid stuff!  I'm sure in at least two of those chases I spotted the legendary P76 too!

This is one of my all time faves too.

The movie itself is hugely underrated in my opinion, main star is Roy Scheider. Well worth a watch if you get chance, it is (or was) on YouTube.

I Found The Dumbest Car Chases In Movies (well not me but Francis English)

The fast & furriest are utter shit.

The charger reg defies the laws of physics by amongst other things doing wheel spinning wheelies!

All manual cars have at least a 12 speed gear box and can do 85 backwards.

Some great action in this.

Featuring a Sierra, a Corolla Liftback, and a Scorpio flying around Copenhagen in 1987.

in addition to the following post.

I found this, which includes that.

The Streets of San Francisco (1970s), The Best Car Chases.

15 mins of tyre squealing and dodgy handling.

The Fords!  I think the only action car that wasn't from Dearborn was the Datsun Z.  Now I know Ford was a volume seller, but come on...

Pretty much all TV cop shows had cars furnished by The Ford Marketing Corporation in the '70s

Oh yes, absolutely!  That was something that stood out for me BITD.  But wouldn't you think they'd make a bit of effort to buy something cheap and off-brand for the bad guys?  It worked well enough on The Sweeney, after all.
