Some amazing cars coming up for auction. (6 wheel Range Rover conversion, 2CV, loads of MG's etc)

Jesus, there is an NSU RO90 with a load of old car mags in the boot.

Might have a trip out to have a nosey & watch what things go for, Love the Jag XJ6 Coupe's but been burnt by them before in the past!

Two Ro80s.

One is only fit for spares; the other has had some restoration and some limited running with a new engine at some point in the last couple of decades. Phil Blake (who owns about 12 or 20 of them, depending on who you got the story from) is bidding on the latter.

I'm out of the running as I'm spending money on the CX's latest coolant leaking strop.

AHH, here are some of the scrappage scheme cars... I dunno, but I vaguely recognise all those 635's as a group and that XJ kit car has been offered for sale individually before because I posted it in the shite thread. No one 'found' this lot.

I’d love to go somewhere like that with a trailer and a wedge of cash, come home with a piece of motoring history or junk to play with. Alas, no trailer and no wedge.

No trailers? So I’m guessing they want people to drive them all home or turn up in a truck.

A guy at the auction is tweeting out some of the winning bids here https://twitter.com/LUDENClassics .

I'm not the best judge of a car's value though it does seem like people are going a bit mental with the bids...

Cheers, the rolls didnt seem that bad/ price wise.

I would have thought checking the oil was a good idea. On the off chance was filled with oil before being laid up/stored,

The two Ro80s went for £1000 and £1200, I think. The one in worse condition fetched more money.  No, I can't understand it either....
