Also the original photographer had a better zoom lens than my phone! Congratulations, the 1987 photo contains a Yugo 45??. Sadly couldn't find a Dacia in the 2019 photo?. michael t, HillmanImp and Six-cylinder 3
HillmanImp Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 I can't believe theres any of that style Sainsburys left. Hardly anythings changed except the trees behind it. I see they've put a grander entrance on in an attempt to polish a turd though. michael t and Lord Sterling 2
MKT Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 Basildon 1976ish Datsun 160J SJN 160N was first registered in August 1974, lasting until March 1986. Load seems well secured. ? Marina pickup?

uk_senator Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Who`d have thought this topic would have been quite as brilliant as its turned out to be! Only thing is, I cant seem to see any pics on the website, I click on them but there's no pic, just coloured boxes with the description on (using W10 on Google Chrome), anyone else having this issue? 500tops 1

Not all stores have pictures publicly available, some have the boxes with a description of something in the archive but no actual pictures. uk_senator 1
ChinaTom Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Tell me that red car to the right of the white Datsun is a Solara and not a Tag...
bunglebus Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Pretty sure that's a Solara. Only ever seen one Tagora in the metal - in a breakers yard

Not only is it a 6 year old 3500 at a time most Government Car Service cars would have been Ambassadors, it's running Dunlop Denovos on steel rims, something I've never seen outside of an advert. I wonder if this means it's got some form of light armour plating? The Windows look normal, so probably not. Cool wing mirrors too, presumably because that was what they'd always specified and in 1976 cars didn't usually have door mirrors. HMC, JeeExEll and Sudsprint 3
