Oi you lot. This is a perfectly good car with mot until Jan 2020.

It just needs a couple of brake discs, an exhaust down pipe and decluttering.

The only drawback is the colour, but surely that's not the end of the world?

3 more randoms for Cartakeback please.

I'm not sure I want to let this go.

I think I'm going to try to juggle my finances to keep both cars.

If you don't, I'd take a trio of randoms.

A terrifying prospect.

The one thing I would say is that most people who have offered to buy tickets so likelihood is that it will be in the possession of CTB sooner rather than later. If you like the car then keeping it would save it.

Oh. That’s a shame*.

Put me down for a couple of randoms if you like.

Note that if I win I'll ask you to ring CTB on my behalf, take yourself and your lad to the pictures on the proceeds then paypal me whatevers left.

My local cinema is 3 quid a ticket, so I'd be a cheap date :D

Keep it - it is only money! Enjoy it with you lad until January when CTB will probably give you the same fo it sans MOT. No loss and another year of memories.

I'd actually use it and do it up. Sadly the chances are that ctb would win. Keep it, put it back up for roffle at Xmas, it could be one hell of a secret santa for somebody.

And having thought about it then it's simple.

You openly ask for X tickets but you don't say who for. You have to pm the doc with your nominations (you cannot nominate yourself). That way only one person knows the truth.

Xmas day is a Wednesday, so what better than waking up that day knowing there's a chance you could be the lucky* winner. TheDoc just published the list an hour or so before the draw, just to get everyone's arseholes twitching.

Aw, I was going to let my girls decorate the car if I won and then re-roffle it.

chance of rainbows, pink and Ponies everywhere was quite high.

One for ohdearme please, that'd be a great collection thread and a hilarious roffle in due course.

Spoke to my littleun on the phone last night, told him about the BMW and said I wasn't sure if I would keep it and his words were: 'Sell the  Rover, keep the BMW.'

So if I'm correct, just 14 tickets to go. I cannot wait!

Would this go on a classic policy?

”Any modifications from standard?”

”Er, um...”

Isn't that a tenner less than CTB?, so a quick profit* for somebody local.

I'm going to go ahead with this now, if everyone is OK with that. 51 tickets will provide just enough money to help my dire finances this month.

Any ideas what to do if a non-allocated ticket comes up?

I'll start sending pm's out soon.

Could just saw it moves to whatever the 6th number that was drawn was (in the order that the numbers were drawn, not numerically :) )

You could just work back a number until the first allocated number comes up;

ie,

16 31 42 49 10 09 11

If 11 was an unallocated number it would then go to 09, if unallocated 10 and so on.

So as long as 22, 25 and 50 aren't in their I'm safe.

If nobody has the “winning” ticket just roll it over til the next draw? Probably best, and will save the inevitable whinging.

As long as you state absolutely what you plan to do, noone will have any issues with it.  Either last drawn in order or draw, or rollover, would work fine.
