I'm sure Mr Weasel will give it an endorsement of the highest order!

that reminds me somewhat of our college project carill detail it for you1996 Ford Fiesta MK IV 1.1We are turning it into a rwd, rear engined car, with the original lumpso far, the subframe has been mounted, i think the suspension turrets are currently being modified, fuel tank is being secured where the engine once lived, and the battery is going next to the front seatOh and theres a massive hole in the floor in the rearbloody complicated. Not even looking forward to modifying the electrics at allIt will be utter shit, but a laugh, hopefully itll get done by June 2010.Its on an N plate too, probably one of the first MK IVs made.

Normally Ima big fan of MiniMetros, but on this occasion I will be beating Pog off with a shitty stick to cut that one up with a gas axe and then shred the bits, then once the bits are shredded bung them in a furnace.no, really, its not nice to look at.Still one mans meat etc etc....

Thats bloody horrible. Only fit for landfill.

but bless its a metro...tbh, i'd put another engine back up front ;) 2x 1275cc motors that'll be more intresting

Looks like a combined cheese grater and vegetable peeler to me. Firmly in the category of shit.

I'd like it a bit more if it were not for the comedy, oversized spoiler on the back. I appreciate it probably has *some* use in generating downforce with it being mid engined (and presumably RWD?), but it makes it look hypershit.

Posted

Remove the spoiler! You could "easily" get the back end from an MGF, put one of those Rover 220 Turbo engines in, etc.

Posted

Yeah, I will allow that one to be smashed into small pieces.

It's ripe for trundling around Doncaster on a Saturday night, hat turned backwards, A bit of Drum'n'bass coming out of the (yet to be darkened) windows, joining in with the little Corsa mounted knobheads that whizz about fucking people off.............I might join them in the Land Rover tomorrow, just to see if one wants to play chicken.......Oh I love the sound of splintering fibreglass....

Why go to all the hassle to make it mid engined without sticking a proper engine in it? That needs, at the very least, 500 bhp to make all the work worthwhile - never mind the spoiler, I'd need 1000 bhp before I could justify that.Is it really that hard to find something that'll do donuts in a Tesco car park on a Saturday night? Sorry, it's quite probably very well engineered, but it's pointless. Ang on, that means it's shite. This is the home of shite. People here don't seem to like it..Does not compute! Does not compute....

I sorta like it - but only a little bit.I do really like the slatty thing on the back window - what do you call them? Can you still get them even? I have had thoughts (probably very stupid thoughts) of putting one on my 309, but then most likely it would just end up looking complete cack. Much like the Metro.

Steady on, old chap. I can't see the point of doing this 'conversion', unless you do it properly and have one lump fore and aft, like one of those '4x4' moke's/mehari's, or those nutty modified golfs. Or that WTFmobile owd boy was building on RR.

Louvres. I don't think you can get them now.

He seems to be missing a window,

and the exhaust looks funny too, popping out from beneath the 'meccano' tea tray on the back  It's still fugly though...

:lol::lol: Them there wheels would be worth a wank to some retro-wheel perv no doubt. If you went to the trouble of sticking the engine in the rear WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU STICK WITH AN A-SERIES???

It reminds me a bit of those old Metro Scalextric cars you used to get, not the 6r4 'Mighty Metro' ones, but the ones with the plastic opening bootlid.

Posted

I think nailing Runcorn fucking bridge to the boot is a better achievement than a mid engine myself.
