They must have ran up about 2 grand in ebay fee's trying to sell that granada. They're were looking for 2 grand for it, which is about double what I'd want to pay for what's got to be the most undesirable mk2 Grannie spec out there.

Well,that's me oot. Anything over a grand for any Mk2 Geanada seems like a lot of money to me,but then I am a tight bastard.

I suppose it's inevitable that only high spec versions of cars are preserved , but it would be a shame if in the future people think all Granada's were Ghia Xs or all SD1's Vitteses. This nice looking Granny reminds me of what made up the bulk of 'executive' car parks in the 80's.

This is like a mini ebay tat thread on the ebay page but less funny.

 

I assume the one above is coming up as I was looking at old cars. If I looked at jeans, it would probably come up with collections of jeans etc.

 

Based upon this idea, I am going to make a list for sex toys and childrens literature and hope that pictures of buttplugs come up at the side of the page when parents are buying Noddy books for their kids.

I know the pedal count and Vitesse wheels will probably offend at least one resident P6 fondler.

The resident P6 fondler is a bit surprised this thing hasn't sold in Months, despite the asking price is very reasonable from what I can see.

Well, I suspect it's a fake and started life as an auto. No big deal, many of them have been converted. When it was listed the first time around, I asked the seller a few questions, and he answered all of them to my full satisfaction. I then tried to verify what it started life as, and therefore asked the seller for the first three digits of the VIN. Since then he appears to have vanished from the surface of the planet, hence I somehow smell a rat bigger than just a mere gear and pedal box swappage.

What made me suspicious in the first place is that the car has no PAS and the wrong steering wheel for an 'S'.

In theory I would be all over this but lack of information and the fact that it looks like he's just scanned the brochure for the photos is a bit off putting.

That blue Renault 15 TS auto looks very like the one I towed in to a garage as a trade in about 30 years ago!  Right down to the front wings which I didn't colour match properly when I replaced the originals with fibreglass ones.

Christ, i stil have nightmares about my bloody Mk 4 Zephyr V4, heap of shit, the fuckin OMGCHG went that regularly i should have put fuckin wing nuts on it, instead i put a 3ft scaffold bar on the socket and pulled it down to fuck nose what lbs ft, it never blew again.

 

Had a Zodiac version, executive doncha know, different car completely, fond memories and fond memories of nights fonding mammaries on those armchir recliners, oh yes.

It's the only *black* BX Hurricane. Word has it that the original purchaser - who wanted it in black, not Triton Green like all other Hurricanes - was Kate Ashfield (Sean of the Dead's girlfriend in the fillum).
