This reminds me of the Corona man who used to deliver Dandelion and Burdock to our house. Happy Days...

So who's brave enough to hit Buy it Now, meet the i-am-seller of the mycar and find out what they've actually bought?  Could end up being something amazing.

Not going to be me though.

This has been re-listed at £600 BIK,in Car mats and trim ffs!!

Well...

$_57.JPG

Not a problem you say, it's just an afternoon's job to change a wing and a bumper. Especially when the spares are supplied with thecar.

Well, you just made your first fundamental mistake.

So you point out the tiniest ding in the door and flog it on as quick as you can.

However, good old Uncle Junkman can tell you nice horror stories of completely rotten C-pillars and what it really means when the rear door seal is in mid air

I would happily have another Bluebird, but not another 1.6. I honestly don't think I ever saw 70mph in my old one. 65bhp, I seem to recall?

Buy it so you have something to post in the recent boy racer thread.

This is lovely, and not far from me, but not sure I could spend 2.5k on one.

And no wood, either, or shagpile on the door pockets. :(

My dad's 1.6 Bluebird managed an indicated ton on several occasions, including once when chasing an Austin Ambassador that had tooted at him while he was trying to park. He told me not to mention that incident to my mother...

Very tempted to do a Vulgalour-style cleaning mission on this one. Sadly it's not worth the £££ he's asking for it. SWMBO likes it, strangely.

Weirdly, I want to buy that Maestro and drive it until the moss goes brown... but I know in reality I'd clean it until you could see the rust before it had even completed it's first shopping trip.

That Maestro looks in need of a loving home, alas I suspect the underside and sills have all the strength of damp tissue paper by now.  If its been there for 26 years it can't have been that old when it was parked up.
