That would be a better looking thing if someone hadn’t stuck Ferrari badges all over it. Also what is it with little Welsh places (corwen )that like big Americana?

I didn't even look to see where it was. Oddly enough was up that way today.

This has gone down hill faster than a fat kid in a fridge coming down Scafell Pike, but in fairness it'd hard to tell if the state of the interior now...

Blimey, it was going on holiday with a 59 reg tow car so that's 15 years absolute minimum and probably a lot less.

I do think the 'yellow peril' era Japanese cars have aged really well. That Celica looks fantastic. 

Japanese cars of that era were also more likely to start first time in comparison to a lot of British cars, e.g. MK 1 Ford Fiesta, Austin Metro.

Next door neighbour had a MK 1 Fiesta 950, which would never start first time. After a couple of years, he stuck an 1100 engine in it, which still had exactly the same issue! He kept it for about 15 years in the end, God knows why...
