Slower than a weekend stuck in a lift playing chess with that braying gobshite Alison Hammond, but plays a far nicer note.

when we were 16 we were all moped lads. I had a Honda cb50, slow but dependable.Another an SS50 and a few had fizzys all of which were 4 speed. Before his 16th birthday "Bilbo" had a go on my 'ped and one of the fizzys. Two weeks later he rocked up to the bus shelter [ where we congregated] on one of those fine X1s but complained it wouldn't even hit 30mph. He'd been riding it for a fortnight without realising it was a 5 speed.

Can well believe it.

A guy I used to work with had a similar conversion to a standard mountain bike and on his bike tracker he was the fastest around every circuit.

He could do brizzle to Frome in 40 odd mins🤣🤣🤣..... Took about 4 hrs in the car 🙄🙄🙄.

He had a mate who'd done something to his scooter that could top 60mph without a care in the world.

But all cyclists are responsible people who would never dream of doing over 22mph I'm sure 😉😉😉😉.

I'd rather have a proper motorbike/scooter with proper brakes albeit with the need to insure it and not ride on pavements / cycle paths and stop at red lights.

That is an electric motorbike with the same obligation to insure and tax as any other motorbike.

Electric bikes with no insurance/ licence/ tax requirements are limited to 250W and 15mph, although as the speed can be exceeded by a push bike I doubt if that’s enforced.

No, its a mountain bike with a mental motor/battery on it - good luck getting it MOT-able and registered with the DVLA and then finding someone to insure it.
I mean, I (think) I get what you are saying in so much that by doing those mods it becomes essentially an electric motorcycle, but really we all know, its not and never will be legal to ride on the road.

Couldn't agree with you more my man but I daren't start any sort of cyclist criticism on here 🤭🤭🤭

Wow with these Escort vans you're spoiling us, ambassador. £750 start bid, think we may see it relisted... It's in Wales, should you want to avoid it.

I could very well be chatting out my ring though with seem to recall that was the previous versions.

Always thought these looked like a slightly sexier Suzuki teapot.

It's got the wrong sort of right sort of engine

Cylinder capacity: 2300cc

Fuel type: Diesel

If that's the same engine as the Sierra 2.3 diesel I hope they've got a defib unit in the back to revive the bastard if you have to ever actually accelerate one day.
