We shall drive on the beaches, we shall drive on the landing grounds, we shall drive on the fields and in the streets...

That's one for the stupid tyre names thread. I wonder why they didn't choose 'HITLER'?

Out of all the engine swaps you could do I have to wonder why they chose that one?

Cheap engine and cheap/available adaptor plate maybe? Wonder how it drives - looks like  a wedding car.

Yeah I suppose so, I’d be curious to see how it drives too, the standard 6.75 isn’t exactly a rocket though it’s purposely tuned that way, I feel like I’d want to go the other way in terms of an engine swap and try and shoehorn a TD5 in it, all the luxury of a Shad with the reliability and economy of a Turbo Diesel

If you could drop in a complete TD + Auto box then it could be an interesting project (rather than mating up to the old box - I'm assuming that's what they've done there).
My wife would kill me (slowly) if I rocked up in a RR though .....

Looking like it they’ve also done a gearbox swap, quite a neat job actually

F996OFG if anyone is mad enough to contemplate a bus like this

As I've been told we "need to get a car with bigger tyres" after the 5th puncture in 12 months on the Scirocco.  I feel this fits the bill
