'this is in a different class to any of the models that came before'

Aye, the window lickers class by the look of it. .

Re: that Maestro van a couple of pages back.

it's just not economical to pay to have it repaired.

Yeah, It costs a fortune to do a head gasket on an A-series...

When I am rich I would like to buy cars like that Renault 5 and put them back to how they should be.

How true. Judging by the HGF it didn't do anything for the cooling. Maybe it's the start of a new trend - a slot for your briefcase? Or a bonnet mounted shredder for your taste and style?

It really is the most half arsed rat luk OMGHITITWIVDASTICK abortion I have ever seen. It's almost worth buying just to go to the sellers house and slap him about. Maybe we should all form an Autoshite choir where we go to these people's houses, and sing them a barber shop ditty about how crap their car is?

Is this basically a SM ? Hard to look more outlandish than the Citroen version but they pulled it off. I have to admit i'd never seen one of those before. The interior looks comical with the wheel so much lower than the dash.

Edit: kinda looks like a tatra from that angle

There was someone selling a mint one of these for £125,000 earlier this year, though it was a motor show car I think. I imagine you'd need pretty deep pockets to revive that one. What a challenge though.

Is there a single Mini in decent working order left on the roads?

There seems to be as many half-arsed, half-finished 'projects' for sale as there was Mini's ever sold. I always thought they were a piece of piss to work on, but judging by all these restoration abortions they must be the motor mechanical equivalent of solving a Rubik's cube with your toes whilst translating the Qur'an into Finnish.

Don't care about this particular one either way, but it just chaps my arse to see so much 'unfinished project' wank.

If you're going to start something, bloody well finish it off, or you're not getting any dinner.

MOT'd apparently, but "is a FULL RESTORATION project"

Nonsense, it's lovely as-is...

^ Several times. I'm surprised* it hasn't sold yet.

Oops - sorry............ "must try harder............"

Shouldn't like this, but lose the stickers and I think there's a nice little car here

Yes, and it's the silver one. That 309 looks absolutely gopping.

I disagree. I really like that. If i had not bought the Visa i would be bidding on that as its pretty local and suitably miserly for my requirements. Much prefer the earlier rear lights, not sure why they changed them.

Have to say, the Visa is still the better choice of the two though.

That Nova's cracking, not sure if the price is a tad optimistic but at least they're open to offers.

It's lovely (apart from the wheels) but it's not going to be saved by me this time!  KruJoe/Bollox, your turn!

These used to be everywhere but have vanished lately, presumably they're a bit rot-prone.

Anyone know owt about these? 2.4 petrol, must be a bit of a flying machine. Everyone knows Stilos are a massive pile of toilet so I'm guessing theyre pretty cheap. This one is a 'Schumacher' and has no gearbox which presumably will add further cheapness. Are they all fitted with some sort of 'semi' auto box?
