This was on eBay for weeks with a buy it now price of £3250, it actually sounds alright and even at £3750 is at the  lower end of what some chancers are trying  to get for Mk3s. As I’m a weirdo it would be more appealing to me with its original cloth and steels.

It’s funny, people ( in general and car journalists) moan about Citroen Peugeot etc plastics in the 1980s and 90s ( and on) but Ford were no better and more expensive. Having said that I think it looks good with the leather snd alloys.

There will be it's like for years ads for 2dr Mk5 cortinas always said "only 11 left"!!!!!!

Because how many left said so, when in reality it was that only 11 logbooks said 2 Dr saloon them while the rest just said saloon.

One of my MK3 GT 's says 2 Dr the other doesn't. So obviously that's one less that exists.

I’ve no idea why a doctor is better than, say a bishop? My sister and brother in laws are both doctors ( PhD and DPhil) and know nothing about cars- I get to arrange fixes or ask questions here and I only have 11 letters after my name.

I know these have a separate chassis but I think that will need a fair bit of welding/metal work to be safe.
