The one we used drove from London to Norfolk and back just fine, and the military used them on roads when needed.

When I saw the hydraulics and gubbins under the load deck, I was glad that I wasn't spannering on it, though the front wheel station could be (and was) changed quite quickly.

I'd imagine most people are big in the microcar world.

That made me do a genuine el-oh-el. Not something that happens very often, excellent work Trigster.

In other news, I would quite like an Iso Rivolta....

I don't why you lot keep taking the pass about the distance i'd buy a car from, I've travelled all over Britain to buy cars in the past.

ditto

bought one in Romford when I lived in Scotland - saw it one week when I was in London and a month later took a Fiat 500 to Hull and picked up a bond minicar in Essex, got home early Sunday morning and then went to Knockhill for the day.

I've just bought one from Poland!! :D It was only 900 miles away. Although I have cheated a bit. My friend in Germany is collecting it Monday and taking it to his house in Chemnitz and storing it in his garage, then I will fly over in september to collect it as that is my earliest opportunity.

Shitting hell, if the wings on that Cortina are as reasonable as they look then they're probably worth more than the asking price alone. No money, trailer, towing car or passport but if I had I would ONE MILLION PERCENT be all over that.

Christ that looks rough. By the look of the stuff he's selling he's worked out a deal with local tat fragger Stewart Thomsons to redirect all "classics" he's going to frag straight to his house.

This looks like it could be a proper giggle. In fact it's a good job it's over the other side of the country and has a borked alternator - I love cars like this. Kind of like the Rover of Doom, but with more speed and less smoke.

That's cleared that up then, cheers.

ROVER COUPE Vitess GOLD LPG 2Litre Twin Turbo
IS NOT A TWIN TURBO JUST NORMAL TURBOOOOO

Despite the tosspottery, it could be a cheap smoker with a bit of tidying (if the LPG works ok).

Currently £200.

This has been in the local paper for the last 2 weeks - a one-owner mk4 Escort 1.1 for £750. This is the Motors Today website advert.
