Sadly not that fantastic Jamaican yellow one in the back ground, but still pretty sexy. No MOT though, and not brown

*Edit: may be it is MOT'd, the paperwork in the photographs has a different number plate from the car.

'Modern day classic'

It's about as 'classic'  as a sheep farting Beethoven's 5th symphony via a road traffic cone shoved up it's arse.

That's the funniest thing I've heard since Dominic Cummings needed to drive 60 miles around Durham to "check his eyesight", and yes I did Google Beethoven's 5th.

Ah...

Bit confusing this, the listing is for three cars, and it's not clear which one this charming engine bay belongs to. Still, £1000 for three Wartburgs... that'll keep you out of the pub for a while!

These are owned by an old workmate of mine, he bought a giffers house about 3 years ago and the chap left the cars there. Two are totally beyond repair. The third is actually quite nice, he asked me to come and see if I could get it running. After a bit of fettling got it running ok off an external tank, my god it was smoky to start off with! Just needed a new fuel pump from what I remember.

There was a tasty Wartburg camper type thing too (can be seen in the background) - that just needed a fuel pump too, was the same type of engine as the others. Must be a weak point on these.

Sounds like a decent project for the asking if you've got room!
