well this is amusing I wonder where he got his info from and I wonder who the 2CV equivalent of me is because I got bored/curious and managed to find the reg of the -85 car LOL

(unless the seller does not know what he is on about and said info is already known to the appropriate people in the 2CV world)

also found a few others between 85 and 94 one of which is NI registered, I dont think I have ever actually "seen" a NI registered 2CV until now (although I have never particularly gone looking for one)

How interesting that you have found a few more 2CV numbers.  I have seen that list before and wondered how correct it was.

It is when you realise that S1 Turbos struggle to make money, as do CXs generally. The few that have been on the market in the last couple of years have usually been pitched at ten to fifteen bags, but have simply sat unsold.

The last S1 Turbo to go through auction, C770 EYD, fetched £5625 a year or so ago. It had been tried at ten grand previously by the family of the deceased owner, and failed to sell at that price.

Half the problem is that these few cars are too well-known, certainly within CCC circles, for anyone to think about parting with the levels of cash that flippers think they can get.

12 bags for this, fully restored allegedly. @Angrydicky should buy it, it's the same colour as his Senator. Seats the same colour as James Herriots forearm.  I WILL ASSIST IN COLLECTION FRED.

I'm wondering why the odometer digits don't line up. I suspect shenanigans. The MOT history is rather sparse also.

Either it's been clocked, or the odo is not far off the turnover to ten grand.
