I actually quite enjoyed driving the Swift I had.  I thought it went quite well for a 1-litre, although the ride was bone-shattering.  I am a sucker for a 3-pot engine mind.

I never even knew VM made a straight 6!

There is an XJ6  / VM6 somewhere in this thread, a year or two ago. I read somewhere that Jaguar tried it themselves before not making an XJ40 Diesel.

VM6 available in Lancashire.

Presumably he's not noticed there's a fucking pandemic and a massive recession happening, could be a factor why he's not inundated with people offering £5k for his 'its no show winner' Dolomite. £2000 seems a perfectly decent offer to me. What a flange.

.... £5k for his 'its no show winner' ...

Whoever "wins" it - presumably for around a grand - can decide whether to be a "no-show" winner....

it’d do nicely. Bit rough but verydo not paint post urban distressed. It’s been a Long time since I’ve seen one of these, but there were plenty on my street when I were a lad. Plumber opposite had one, dads electrician mate had one. A good nostalgiamobile

But wait what’s this?

period correct Fiat twincam engine.

Very, very cool.

Have an accident in that, and as the steering column goes through your face you can at least turn the hazards on with whats left of your head.

Give it a rest health and safety police, you could easy wear a motorcyclists back protector (on your front) while driving or even just an 18" section of scaffolding board down your jumper if you were worried about being impaled. Solutions.

I do like the aluminium light switch panel on the door pillar, mind you 'Put big light on' etc etc
