£5K for that is ridiculous.  It's rougher than mine, cosmetically at least.  I know classic car prices have gone up a lot since I bought mine, but even so that's £1,500 tops.

For sale in London (Islington) which kinda explains the pricing. Being a 72 it's LEZ and ULEZ exempt which is a +. From the ad it sounds like it hardly gets used.

This is the BMW Z3 that donated it's front bumper and other assorted front bits to mine after my son spun into a kerb. It's not for me but the attention to detail and presentation is impressive. Nice.

Z3 probably a good start for this as all the external panels except the windscreen surround bolt on IIRC.

I normally take the piss out of these sort of things, but I quite like this and being a 3.0 It would sound a feel right, not to mention being quick. I think the fact it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just a bit like a 60’s sports car that might have been influenced by Lusso/GTO/ SWb etc.

Must admit, that looks ace.

One of my many dreams is to roll around in a "DO NOT PAINT" status 60's special.

I love taking the piss out of rubbish kit cars and  fibreglass reskins but even I admit that Ferrari job on the Z3 looks pretty good, 10/10 for whoever has come up with that.

*****EDIT Mind you it wants to be decent for 28 grand!!!!*****

I think i would struggle to walk past this with my £28k to be honest

The slightly odd thing is that they have an 02 plated one for sale too...have they forgotten they are selling a later registered one?

Yeah I've said before i like this sort of thing as a 60s pastiche. It's when they start glueing on fake badges and walking around with fake key-fobs....

Makes a change from all those MX5-based conversions....

There's a chance I could move out to the US state of Oregon, so it leads me to always looking for cars there at least once a month.

$1850 for an ex-Police Crown Vic with 98k on the clock.

Sure its tatty and still has the 'convict' spec rear seats, but it's a turn-key car in US terms (Oregon is Lax on roadworthy).Probably spend $1k max on getting parts/tidying it up and. Mhmm...I should't mull things like that over.
