Perfect for a TS200 replica.

I have a pre-face lift 1.4 lsi 8V 82 bhp in red until I drove into the back of someone whilst looking at the view in the distance. "Oh that must be Halewood, where they used to build the escort"

Was the first mk3 of 3 that I wrote off.

That is bloody gorgeous!

Sir Norman Foster owns a Tatra.

I’ve owned two?

Rust can be a big issue, as can engines.  The state of the paintwork too and there’s a lot of it to paint.

Having said that, it’s a fantastic thing to drive, I did thousands of miles in mine commuting to work

Is that belonging to Panhard65 on here?

Ah, yes, just noted location, and number plates seem typical of the style he uses.

That's gone straight to the top of the 'cars I will be interested in buying when this is all over' list.  The seller was a sound chap when I last met him (over 20 years ago!), so I assume still is.  Wrong front panel/grille for a Mk1, but more than compensated for by this...

That ADO16 does look like it'd be a lot of fun.  I thoroughly enjoyed driving the two I had, and those were both boggo single carb models.  Not badly priced either if it is as solid as he says.

In fact I really should stop buggering about with hopeless old Mercs and get myself something sensible and useable like that...

Double negative alert!...

"Very solid car doesn’t need no welding."

But  does it  not seem to not need no bumpers.

Have we had this pair of Saabs yet?  Both being sold by the same person in BeEP / Craig the Princess country.

I'm having to fight very hard not to justify looking at that ADO as 'essential travel'.

Yes. I've seen that listed a while ago. Pretty sure it was closer to the £400 mark.

It's a nice car but it's nearer to London and that's a bit much of an non essential journey to go look at an old Laguna. However, it's (mostly) clean, I've a soft spot for those. BTCC memories, it was front cover of TOCA on the PlayStation back in the day.
