roundup of south coast chod. Entrant #1. Sleeper

Advert appears to have been written by the car itself so may be sentient and could well be selling itself without the current owner's knowledge. Might have the V5 in its own name? Also, could well decide it doesn't like you and sell itself without your knowledge again. I reckon it must be pretty rapid with a 2.8v6 and 4wd, at least in a straight line?

entrant #2 for today. A fucked Insignia. VXR look-a-like which is great, because no-one will know its not a VXR because you won't start it ever as the HG has gone and its got a slow puncture. Threw up over a grands worth of repairs in the last 13,000 miles and no listed with a 1p starting price and no reserve. Will it top £10?

Parked on double yellows so may have been towed away by the time bidding ends.

and bringing up the rear, a Citreon DX Zeisel. Didn't beko have one of these that had done 300k before it expired for needing a tonne spending on it? If so, there is about another 190k miles in this, albeit slow ones

Not sure if the angle of the photo or if the rear suspension has collapsed/is collapsing? French electrics, sunroof, but its jammed shut so shouldnt* leak everywhere and break the remaining electrics? Apart from being about as far away from him as its possible to be, while still being in the same country, this might be a good source of spares for @Lacquer Peel and his 306 dizzler?

Here's a sad sight. Our old 2CV has had a half-arsed makeover and now looks properly shit. This was a proper old French shed, filled with pop-rivet repairs and bodges, but went well and looked great. Now it's just another rusty 2CV with a crap blowover - and why are the wheels that colour?? The worst bit are the number plates, which had been really nicely painted and now look like a four-year-old did them. Ho hum.

That's what you're up against though. In the 'real' world nobody likes or appreciates patina, or the history behind a pop riveted repair etc.

Throbbers.

We swapped it for a Peugeot 202, value approx £5000, with a dealer friend. It was sold on very soon after but I'm not sure what he was asking. The 202 is a much nicer car btw
