eBay tat volume 3.

I considered owning one of these for quite a while now which made the surprise only bigger when one finally showed up in my Ebay search alerts. This is an incredibly rare Honda Vigor, the car that was sitting between the Accord and Legend in Honda's model hierarchy you could say. They build these in different sizes, the larger variant was also sold as Acura in the states, this one is the smaller one for the Japanese market. Due to lack of funds and space (and the fact that its located in the middle of nowhere) I decided against pulling the trigger so I'll post it here, secretly hoping that someone is going to buy it...

Ever seen a Honda built straight-5 before?

Bit of an oddity that Wartburg, completely clean MOT, but advert stating it's needing lots of work. Doesn't quite add up.

It's a car, it's a van, it has a weird roof. You can all buggar off and leave me alone with my Berclingo fetish.

I honestly think I'd prefer a Zafira, than one of those things. Thing is, my fianceé knows my thoughts on Zafiras, and has been given strict instructions on what to do with my body if I ever show an interest in one.

Nice Honda that.

Having a standing eBay search for a car of which there’s only one in the country: that’s hardcore. Respect.

Not buying it when you do actually get the one and only ever hit, at £600: that’s even more mental.

Would Sir prefer the Audi hearse on trims or the Seat Malaga for the funeral conveyance?

That's a tough call. Just as long as it's not a Berlingus version, I'm happy.

The front grille is almost an afterthought; the rest is taken up by those spaceship headlights.

Didn't know Honda made 5-cyl engines; ye learn something new every day.

Haha I know right. I didn't even know there was one in the UK, I created the search alert just in case there is, and here we are. Not the first time it happened though, my Olds Aurora is the only one in the country as well, and I was willing to pay much more than it went for in the end. I was quite surprised considering it only took about 2 weeks before I got the email for it.

Okay.  Okay.

So... yeah, I know.

Okay.

But why?

I mean...  it's not really Autoshite money but then it's presented exactly like a dog-eared ex-farmer C15 Van, so it's worth a mention, right?  It's also the first time I've ever seen a Lele for sale on eBay and Lele is a stupid name for a car.

Considering one of the Italian car specialists had a tidy and fully functional Lele for sale for £30K a few months back, I think that one might be a tad overpriced.

Daimler V8 250 which celebrates it's 50th birthday tomorrow morning according to DVLA.

MOT & tax exempt, obv. Two hubcaps inside the car too.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DAIMLER-V8-250/192781227249?hash=item2ce2a814f1:g:C7oAAOSw~atcMMdc&redirect=mobile

If that’s its original plate, it’s lying about its age by about 4 years.

It’s my 50th this year too. Wonder if I’ll look like that the day after.

^ I thought Daimler's a 65 C-plate at first too but it's a late one on a 69 G-plate.

Also: if anyone cares to ignore "Arafwch nawr" road markings in the correct marque of motorised carriage, there are no less than FOUR Gilberns up for grabs on the 'bay at the moment.

CBA posting pics or links though, got work to do...

I’m sensing the Spanish think of the departed as a category of minicab fare, while the French mainly regard them as freight.

Oh, Sir would like a smaller engine and a touch more bodywork?

Then try this 1916 American LaFrance Roadster, just 14 litres.

Sir will have to dig a bit deeper though, this one's £110,000...

I'm not so worried about the lack of bodywork on that first one, but something more substantial than air between that drive chain and my right elbow would be welcome.

Broken E90 for a monkey.  Seller is from east of Ipswich and his grasp of English is even more limited than his grasp of photography, but it seems the engine won't start - I don't know if these are the ones that do their camchains at the drop of a hat?
