That Alfa's a bit special eh?

I'm sure I drove past the garage in Harrogate who's advertising that Merc about 6 weeks ago and they had it up for £2995.

Posted
So, it rolled down the hill outside my house and hit a car, as such the wing and bumper got damaged and it got written off CAT c.
Its located in Peakirk - Peterborough.

About a mile from my house and it's so flat around here you could stand in a field and watch your dog run off and it'd still be in view five miles later.

I think doffykid's pants are on fire.

Now that is a shame, I've grown to really like these and it's perfect in white. Shame he's practically advertising it to be broken for spares, it seems far too good for that. Yes it'd be very expensive to repair professionally but what's to stop a new owner driving it as it is, just replace doors/bonnet as and when the right parts turn up, you could run that for years and just gradually sort it out when funds allowed.

Weird, someone vandalised it but missed all the glass? In my experience of that sort of thing (and I've lived on some dodgy estates in my time), the glass is the first thing to go. Usually followed by adding some fire to the insides.

I'd buy it and drive it as is, quite like the "don't give a fuck" look. It'd certainly make people think twice about cutting you up in traffic.

I'd forgotten about these, Suzuki really did manage something special here, a car which was good at absolutely nothing at all. I remember these being slated mercilessly when new by the motoring press. It should be prime autoshite material soon.

Alfetta! That's got to be mega mega rare, not exactly one of Alfa's best looking cars though is it?

Also rare, probably destined for split rims and chopped springs.

interior of that white bee-em is flippin gorgeous.

It's a cliche but if it was closer I'd have it the 7 series. As you say replace the bad panels, fix the not so bad ones and do the paint gradually and it's still a fantastic car.

WHERE WOULD YOU FIND ANOTHER DIESEL MORRIS OXFORD

Any Indian taxi rank...?

Posted

True, although technically that'd be the Hindustan Ambastardor which in turn is based on the later Oxford/Cambridge, plus that has an Izuzu diesel doesn't it?

It's very of its time, anyway.

This poor old thing only had 40 odd thousand miles on it when somone took to it with a hammer. Twats.

It looks worth saving to me with those low miles.

What a fucking arsehole! People who do that to nice cars need to have their balls ripped out and stapled to their foreheads. Fucking cunts!

Possibly slightly excessive. Who knows what the original owner did to deserve it, destroying a car is a GR8 way at fucking someone off. Job done on the part of the vandal. I daubed 'PAEDO' in brake fluid on the freshly painted Beetle of a local wannabe gangster who had fucked a 13yr old and had no problems with it. Best place to hit him was in his wallet and I did that good and proper.

^ That'd be great news if you could fix it up. I recon it could be worth quite a bit of cash sorted as low miler BMW's especially older rarer ones like these e32's are seem to make good cash. I'd love it.

You've got a problem now. I loved that fakkin Beetle.

The paint, the wheels, the filler, the shed hinges on the tail gate and the general concept of the whole vehicle pretty much make that thing the perfect storm of awfulness.

i have over £24000 invested in this build

Oh dear

Engine Size: 1,600

Mega

I saw that VW child picture earlier and thought it really strange. Some folk won't shot the registration plate on a P Reg Mondeo for fear of it being cloned and he's splashing picture of his kids all over ebay.

There was one of those MR2 based Lambo replicas on a police interceptors type programme a while back and it looked bloody good finished. The copper was fooled by it.
