1195 is very optimistic, the quality of some of the cheap cars on that pitch isn't great and never has been, I frequent the white mind estate a lot and always have a wander round the pitches when looking for shite, mind you it's no different from most of the others next door, Ken at KM cars is a decent sort and straight as a rule.

 

I used to get around the industrial part of Morecambe quite a bit with my previous job but now only visit in my own time.

My 1998 Avensis came from Ken and his Son; a great car at the right money, I noticed he's got a 98 Corsa LS with 12k from new which looks tempting for the same money as the Volvo but somehow just doesn't feel like what I want at the moment.

Needs a V8 to be considered. 

 

Mercedes however still knew how to build a proper V12 back in the mid-90s, so this could be a very interesting car for someone, especially considering where prices are going:

Wow, its another one of those "why would you import this" cases. They really went to town with the US Escort Coupe of this generation. Seems like a clean one though!

I think it being so clean is what’s giving me the horn. It’s a base spec manual too, there can’t have been too many of those in the first place!

I think I have found something to excite resident Vauxhall apologists, a non wankered mk1 Nova! Not cheap I grant you mind, but fuckinell I thought they all got redtopped, 1 door mirror, and 1.2 overhead camness! None of that OHV nonsense here thank you very much, it is very blue too, like many Vauxhalls of that era.

Cheap front pawed 4 door Triumph with Ipswich plates in Brigg! Looks OK for the money with a 20 yard blowover, could be full of pudding however is actually MOT'd

If that doesn't scare the living shit out of you, go and buy a cheap Citroen SM.

 

 

John Nutall has now started doing donkey rides at Mablethorpe. Last year Jamie had a donkey ride for £1.50 but this year with the new donkeys it was £3. I did find this a little steep, especially as the same owner has donkey rides at Skegness for much less than this. But the donkeys looked very well kept and Jamie loved his ride and a stroke.

 

How often do I have to tell you this?

 

Do not go to Lincolnshire!
