Absolutely bog standard dash that. Mate had one of these at uni. Used to thrash the bollox off it everywhere which you had to with only around 34bhp to play with.

 

Actually went quite well

Yup, totally standard! I remember sitting in one at the 1987 Earls Court motor show and admiring the dash design. In fact my technical drawing projects were mostly cars and all had a very sparse dash as I was heavily influenced by Panda thinking.

 

Still am. What more do you really need?

Hi All, i'm listing this for a mate who's relatively new to autoshite but doesn't have for sale 'permissions' yet.

 

Its a 1999 Daihatsu Hijet in white with the 1.3 engine. Its listed on the V5 as LPG converted and the lpg manifold is included.

 

My mate had started to strip it with the intention of fitting a bike engine, but has instead taken on a 1990 Rickman Ranger convertible which is having a heavily tuned ford 205 block with race cams installed.

That red XJ40 went up to £1,131 last week but the reserve wasn’t met. These still seem to be pretty well down the value curve. Quite tempted but I’m trying to cut down.

 

I was admiring that one too...those wheels are perfect for it and it's one of the best colours too.  They're still cheap but not as cheap as they were, values are definitely climbing for decent ones.

It fucking is. I hate "reserve not met" as I'd like a clue what the owner expects. Corrosion or not, who's our man in Stockport ?, although divorce would be shortly after I bought this !
