And probably disintergrated by end of the month.

For an Ami 6, that IS 'remarkably rust free'...!

That Ami has already made me go a bit ga-ga. I've been offered it for a fair chunk less than the asking but sadly that's still much more than I can afford!

Would that be one of the British built Citroens from Slough?

Nope. Chap spots stuff on Leboncoin, then dashes off to France to bring it home. He's bringing a fair bit of a deliciously shambolic French tat at the moment.

Yup. A handful of RHD Amis were built to special order in France. Three are known to remain.

This one seems such a sad case. 800s, especially one as early as this 820e are about as common as breeding pairs of Unicorns here in Ireland. This one has been stood in a field awhile but I reckon this looks tasty tasty in this shade of gold I don't remember seeing on 800s as old as this.

Sadly though its probably circling the drain right now, its been advertised at €450 which is probably a little lofty for something that needs to be recommissioned BUT an offer (later welched on) of €300 was accepted. The seller seems a good skin so might be open to a keener offer for the 'right buyer'

Obviously. But this is an Ami question though. Perhaps I should have said 'on that platform' at the end. Apologies to all concerned. I have since heard farts in my general direction and apparently my father smelt of elderberries.

I've come close to buying one of these several times. This isn't a bargain, but does have MOT, and if it's as solid as it looks seems like reasonable value at £3.5k

What's not to like, Lotus 907 twin cam, which should have twin dellortos and produce 150ish bhp ... I seem to think they have the brakes, steering and suspension from a Viva, which can make the handling & stopping quite interesting ... I may have nearly crashed one whilst on a test drive
