The car was totally restored including engine, gearbox, running gear, back axle, the interior was renewed 10 years ago.  However, the car has been left abandoned outside for the last 10 years and she is now in a condition that you see.

Bloody brilliant!

The same car as featured in TV hit series Supernatural.

Errrr... no. The Supernatural one is a rare Sport Sedan.

Much-loved restoration project that I'm sadly having to sell.

I've had her for 25 years and she was completely stripped upon purchase

...are you ready to see how far he got in twenty five years?

I've sadly run out of time

If you lived as long as Methuselah you wouldn't get it finished.

(bonus: when he says "loads of parts come with her" he doesn't mean spares. His list includes items like "washer hose" "front number plate" "bootlid with rear numberplate" "2x front seats" "rear seat" and so on)

^^^ Was that MB's answer to the 13th window in XMs?...

If it was, it's shit.

If it wasn't, it's still shit

Years ago I posted some comments I had copied from our Ebay, Trade Me. The people who inhabit TM are very similar to the Ebay mob. Have another grin.

Some great pics on the (FB) advert.

£650!

Not sure the advert is publicly clickable, but it's in the (legendary) East Coast Retros group.

Woah.  Trip down Mammary Lane for me here.

My first ever car was  VW Polo 1.3 Formel E in THIS colour.  I've never seen another one in this kind of champagne hue - normally they're more Gold or more Silver.

if this was a Formel, then I'd buy it.  As it isn't, I reckon you should buy it.

Nice one.

The old biddy up the road from me had one of these in the 90's in hearing aid beige, I always thought it looked prehistoric compared to it's contemporaries.

Quite like them now though.

My second car was an E reg white Polo 1.0 C like the one above. Awesome solid car that would go on forever, otherthan an unfixable auto choke problem. It was a big step up from the Clubman estate it replaced and at £1200 it pushed my motoring into 4 figures.
