Im looking for a new car as my good lady has destroyed hers.  This meant that I have been looking at "moderns".  Apparently this beauty is not on the list as its not automatic enough.  To quote the seller "cheap luxury car"..

Next up on my "new family car list" that was offered up was something I am more familiar with.  I grew up in Coventry and I have always been a fan of Jaguar cars.  Unfortunately Jeremy Clarkson added even larger nails into the coffin of Jaguar in the UK by mocking the drivers and turning people away from these great vehicles at a time when they actually needed positive press (my option - not the generally accepted opinion of everyone in the UK or probably anywhere).

 

Currently at £500 with no reserve. Its an X350 XJ6.  Ive been keeping an eye on X350's.  I like them.  She doesn't.

I think she should just get one of these - a nice Datsun 100a.  Apparently we are going to see a Citroen C4 Picasso this evening.

I don't know if this has been posted as I have been avoiding this thread as too dangerous. Anyway I also have questions about this 1275gt, shouldn't the boot number plate light thing be satin black for this year? Also shouldn't the door mirrors be black as well? I am no mini-licker, I have driven enough of them to now have zero interest, but that car does look a bit odd, certainly not prepped to £15k standards!

 

I have never seen Denovo tyres for real, although I know they were a thing for these. They must be hard as iron by now.

You're quite right. And they also didn't leave the factory with black smoothrite on the sills and rear valance! It's 'worth' less than half what they're asking...
