I love the smears of wob over the placca side trims on that Clio pick-up!!!!

The very fact that someone would advertise that on ebay rather than quietly ringing EMR, tells you all you need to know about the complete bubble of clulessness the seller lives inside 24/7.

That is pretty hanging but also pretty cool. I might waz a bid on that if it doesn't go too mental. Just to ride around in for a month or so, obvs.

Okay the insurance is mental for this so I am out...

I had one of those in 1990, bought two days after selling an XJ-S. A dark metallic green one, Y reg and the 4.7 Auto (928S). Bought it from Witney Car Auction - it was only 7-8 years old but they were pretty much unwanted. I think it was 4 or 5 grand, lovely thing and built like a tank. It went like stink as well. Criminal how few there are left now.  :-(

This VP made £3000 at Classic Auction 21st March

£3000 mark up. Wonder if it will go for that? If doing for a business by the time you factor in the costs - £3000 capital tied up, cost of transporting and insurance, your own time per hour at auction and after, any fettling*, storage, advertising costs, your time entertaining* every potential customer* and any taxes, any discount negotiated and the fact that it may sit about for months how much mark-up there really is?

£3,495!

'The Australian and New Zealand version of the model range was known as the Holden Frontera and these were also produced at the Luton facility.'

Well, literally thank FUCK for that. And on the basis of that incredible information, I now believe £3,495 isn't a hopelessly fucking stupid price, that the car is in fact worth a minimum of five times that and it's actually more sought after than Lord bastarding Lucan.

'BUT I KNOW THE NUMBERS THAT WERE PRODUCED SO HOW MANY ORIGINAL PARTS AVAILABLE MUST BE SLIM FOR THE COUPE XJC'

Of which you appear to have none of.
