eBay tat volume 3.

Taunuses look so bizarre to Cortina eyes. This head on view reminds me of that urban legend about Cortinas being a few millimetres too wide for import to Japan, so Ford put them in a giant squashing machine to make them imperceptibly narrower.

It is not an urban legend...it is true...

Anyone else remember when every other Ford Cortina or Granada you saw was resprayed like this? I had a Mk5 Cortina Ghia in the same shade of Mingebag Red as this AND it had a similar tide mark.

Last.Page.

This Dolly seems cheap to me with 12 months rent and a couple of months MOT - £650

That's a 1500SE - a run-out special of which there were not very many made, so I believe.

That's actually a 775 special. Page 775 that is. Oh well, hopefully we'll be able to see another 15 pictures of it by page 778, just in case we've forgotten what it looks like.

Loving the Serb update HHH!!

Surely it's difficult to get stuff outta there or something, otherwise why aren't we all there RIGHT NOW?!

I have zero useful knowledge on this, though Comrade Google turned this up:

To export a classic car form Serbia, you need a written permission ( a form ) form Serbian Classic Cars Museum. I have a friend, who works there, so I will ask him ( what is the fee, how hard is to get it ) but I am sure that whole bureauacracy isn't very complicated or expensive. After that, it's only to arrange shiping and money transfer...

Strongly suspect that it would boil down to slipping "a friend" €100 or something.

What, you say, it's too expensive - £375 of your finest English banknotes will see this car on your driveway, it's only in Birmingham. Remember, a car on the drive is better than money in the bank, and depreciates slower than a Cypriot bank account. Worried about Ncap ratings too - this car is also safer than leaving your money in the bank. Your money in the bank is going in reverse, especially in Cyprus. This car has five forward gears and will get up to about 105mph, so, safer, faster, more valuable and less likely to annoy your Russian 'friends' than money in the Bank of Cyprus.

Take it to the Bank of Cyprus and you can see its mileage of 176,000 instantly drop by 9.9% - this offer available till Thursday only. Please note that the Bank of Cyprus is closed until further notice, while everyone runs off with the money.

Go on, you know you want to.

If your Serbian export plan is to circumvent the tiresome bureaucracy by smashing through a border post with Harry Palmer at the wheel, this is the car to do it in. (PALMER NOT INCLUDED)

I have a lot of parts with the car, which of course goes with him ...... the price is such that a fan can buy it and keep driving it ... yet he is ok

€650!
