eBay tat volume 3.

Salty but must be very rare now. I had the hatchback version (GT) a few years back, they weren't really massively different from other Sierras to be honest, but the blue oval and the 'GT' badge means they'll just rocket in value

Remember getting an insurance quote on a 2.0 GT Sierra when I was 18, it was a crazy price, double what I was paying on a 1.8 LX. It was bizarre as it was, as you say, just a cooking 2.0 Sierra. An Azura looked the same but was cheap insurance.

Thanks mate!  Sierras didn't exist when I was 18, in fact we hadn't long got the mk4 Cortina!  Oh I feel old now....

I scored mine as it was an MOT fail (seat belt anchorage points, iirc) at a local garage, and was about £80 I think. Never fixed it, just banged it on eBay and made a big deal about it being a GT and how it'd rapidly rise in value.

There was a 2.0 Twin cam xr4i that was also just a trim level. I think it was quite basic as well. Like an LX plus spoiler.

'The badges on the back say Austin Metro that’s partly due to me being nostalgic and partly due to the original badges being faded and naf looking'

9000 mile x-type. The sills are still probably rusty.

8 grand seems optimistic. If it was 4-5 grand someone might buy as a nearly new car just to hammer miles on but not even the most optimistic cashed loaded old biffer would buy this thinking it was a future investment.
