LLT 525K?

Comes up as a black Morris Mini 1000, untaxed since 1995, so almost certainly.

Posted

The red accents and blacked out tail lights take roughly £2,199.75 off the value for me.

That's rather stiff for a rattle can and a visit to the scrappy.

guy on the maserati forum bought one as a summer toy , first sunny day the engine ate itself on the A1 , don't think he even got 50 miles in it

I ran one for months.  Went like a train and didn't derail once.  Fun cars, but I always banged my head getting in

That car would be a fun punt for half that money.  But not £2200.  Not yet, maybe in 2028

A 2cver and x1/9 friend ( he saw mine and bought one five years ago-it’s still not on the road), is also a serial Alfa nut. He bought a gtv which had supposedly had engine work after his 3litre 159 blew up on his way back from his place in France. It too blew up a month later requiring about £3500 of work, some of which seemed to include fixing the handbrake mechanism for the mot.

That 4x4 vdp wagon is almost as much of a glass cock as the VW-chassied saloon. Let's see if we can go a whole week without it being posted again, eh?

Club SE 1.8 (Kettle) with lengthy ticket but shoddy history for 300 bucks - where do I sign ?

Ah, nowhere - first signs of Project Drive right there - no torpedo, airbag sign surrounded by plastic wood on the dash....

But, £300....Sorely tempted, but leather > velour, right ? In Manchester

I quite fancy one of these BRM's but probably not this one. It seems that it must of had a load of work since it failed in 2014

Reason(s) for failure
  • Nearside Headlamp aim beam image obviously incorrect (1.8.A.1b)
  • Offside Headlamp aim beam image obviously incorrect (1.8.A.1b)
  • Battery insecure (1.9.1)
  • Nearside Rear Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded (2.4.A.3)
  • Offside Rear Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded (2.4.A.3)
  • Offside rear parking brake recording little or no effort (3.7.B.6a)
  • Parking brake: efficiency below requirements (3.7.B.7) Dangerous
Advisory notice item(s)
  • Service brake: service brake efficiency only just met. It would appear that the braking system requires adjustment or repair. (3.7.B.7)
  • vehicle started to overheat emissions test aborted
  • offside rear tyre wall cracked

^ the T16, even a normally aspirated one is a much, much better engine than the friggin' KV6.

You're right, it's the T not the M - corrected.
