I must admit to a slightly disturbing liking for these generic euroboxes; there's something very simple and honest about them.  You don't often see the uber base-spec versions with bare steels and black bumpers, especially in this condition.  I prefer a bit of velour in mine, mind.

If the mileage is genuine (MOT history and  condition of the interior would suggest so), and the price stays under 1500GBP, this is another screaming deal I will need to pass on. I agree these early base spec are rare. My uninformed guess is they started spec'ing these up fairly quickly once the Focus came along. Because later in the run almost all of them had air con, alloys etc.
