Yeah, c'mon Rob, whatever is stopping you can't be that bad.

It's a 2.0cdi...

In a purple kind of colour...

With 17, yes, that's correct, 17,000 miles.

What's more, when you open the bonnet you can see the road beneath, not just a load of useless plastic.

Buy it.

Oh fuck and bollocks. I can't justify any chod purchases for a few months, but then this pops up. My dream Cavalier.

Only 17,000 miles and a minor MoT fail on emissions.

On original dealer plates too. Skipper of Gloucester was my local dealer back in the day, (had to look when I saw the DF reg).

Superhuman levels of incompetence in that 90 deg rotated Astra listing. Well found.

Why must all the fantastic chod be so far away?!

Admittedly, everything is far away from Aberdeen.

At least you live in the same continent as the chod!

That's the spitting image of the one I had in my 1st driving job in 1989.It replaced the Iveco we had which kept breaking down. The Bedford went really well, but I hated it because it was so uncomfortable & it always felt like I was looking out of the top 2 inches of the windscreen  :-(

You absolutely HAVE to do this. It's the best colour they came in and has 'those' alloys. Don't let us down!

Trying to play it cool I've messaged him for more info, but what else is there to say? Apart from

Headlight wipers! I think v6 Auto would be the best spec, but the 2.0 OHC the most rugged and probably offer 90% of what the v6 would do with almost none of the butt clenching potential for wallet drainage.

Surely "needs light restoration" means "doesn't need restoration"?
