Showing 121,000m but originally the speedometer was in km, then converted to read in miles.

So he's saying there's a mixture of the two units.

 

At least that's what he's implying. But the speedometer is showing miles and kilometers, so I'm not sure why the above would be the case.

Unless... He doesn't know what he's doing!

The absolutely silent sleeve valve engine would actually be the USP of this. Not that it's history can be raped for a Freelander.

On the "Standard", note the 60s/70s style choke knob and the 60s/70s gauge on the right.   Quite a lash up.

 

Worth a few e=bay questions to this "independent classic car specialist"?

I just cant get my head around the prices for e30's, this is ace granted, but I still think there worth 1500 etc, only because I once was given a 316 that was rot free and I sold it for £90, then it ram raided a toilet roll factory, but thats another story. Also my old man had a mint 325 cab with low miles that was sold for £1500 before they turned into gold dust.

From the e-bay school of made up models too. There never was an E30 coupe, just two-door and four-door saloons, It's Anthracite - Dolphin Grey was a different shade altogether.

 

Looks quite nice but the seller is trying to make it something it's not.

Not mine. Found on 'CARS FOR SALE CHESTER AND NORTH WALES' on Facebook. The lady is called Briony Lear and she's in St Martins, which is near Oswestry. Reg is P964DWL and she's after about £350 for it, which I reckon could be haggled down a bit most likely.

It's a 1.6 Si manual by the way and I'm in contact with her if anyone wants to reach her.
