Is this common practice to beg on ebay? Yes you can have my R8 chief no problem. It's a 1993 that's had a bump and got a slight overheating problem, is that OK?

Well why not sell them yourself?

Suspicion levels: off the scales. Pretty sure it's a cruel scam and a hijacked eBay account. Reported

I was going to ask how that gets through an MOT, but I bet it's old enough to be exempt.

Still wouldn't want to go near it though!

Apologies if this has already been posted :

That Dedra.  Oh my.  Wibble.

Conversation just now at Skizzer Global HQ:

Me:  Hey, look at this Dedra that's come up on eBay!

Mrs S (peers at screen):  Hmm.

Me:  Look at that gorgeous interior!  It's suede!

Mrs S:  Is it indeed.  Well well.  Trouble is, I'm not swayed.  Get over it.

(Still added to watch list though.)

But then

I'm a horrible person who hates charities.

Just the thing for carting the lady wife to Goodwood. Make sure she keeps her scarf out of the propshaft.

That really is a heap of shit. Some poor deluded twat will part with 25k and then the DVLA will get wind of it and cancel the registration. It really annoys me that they build these heaps and claim free tax and test when not one part of it is over 10 years old.

God you lot are a right.miserable bunch, what could be more fun than a hot rod with a BFO claggy diesel engine? It's not to everyone's taste but it's just a bit of fun, nobody has died and no interesting cars have been chopped up to make it

I wouldn't mind it so much - except that it'll lead to OMG Daily Mail horror and we'll all be banned from doing any work on our own cars.

Only way DVLA will know is if tipped off via a VOSA (or whatever it's calle dthis week) check or maybe an MOT.

Adding things your wife doesn't like to your eBay watched list is like a massive victory. A bit like a cheaper/less cluttered version of having two lock-ups full of rusty old crap that doesn't know about.

Isn't that Cummings going to rev to a massive 1800rpm?

What a heavy lump of shit, you could have a nice car for the money

I do quite like the idea of having a Cummins 6BT in something. That something would need to actually have a reasonable amount of bodywork, though. Oh, and an actual interior.

Holy crap! I thought RHD Simca 1301 estates were extinct!

Are we mounting a repatriation mission, then? Who's in?

Nice to see the reason for sale transcends any language barrier. Floor change by the look of it, which is a good thing judging by the column change on Gary's example
