Smashing cars those 1.4 Nova SRs - even taking into account the plungematic gear change.

Posted

I hope someone buys that Nova and locks it away forever so no 17 year old can ruin it.

If I was in the UK still I'd be all over that.

I like how he's left the blue rattle can sitting there after touching up the paint for the photos.

This is a fucking travesty.

My words precisely.

The loathsome CX500 'Maggot' can barely manage to pull its own weight with any alacrity, or - once it's struggled up to speed - halt its portly progression with those weedy front discs.

Regrettably I have to disagree. I'm a Maggot-Cult disciple.

And I've just noticed the overspray around the radiator and carbs / airbox. Mmmm, classy.

Unfortunately, that's indeed the only classy thing on this Maggot sacrilege.

Look at the state of that fucker.

have robin trycycle vin plate that i got with the trike for road registering the way most do but is ready for sva so i was gan to do it that way

Is there anything in the SVA manual about having a razor-edged fucking grit bin screwed to the back of a roadgoing vehicle?

This is a fucking travesty. The loathsome CX500 'Maggot' can barely manage to pull its own weight with any alacrity, or - once it's struggled up to speed - halt its portly progression with those weedy front discs. It's anyone's guess how it will cope with that additional mass.

I wouyld be man if I rocked up to my local line dancing club or Elvis appreciation society in that. I'd need an overweight wife with pink high heels to really complete the look though

That is fucking awesome!

Not only that. Obviously it also works as intended:

76k one-owner 2.0 GLX with fsh and a long ticket - prob not quite worth £895, but just look at it shining its sweet little arse off.

53k 1.6 with leccy windows & sunroof and a year's ticket. Not quite as ace as that TD estate a few pages back, most significantly in the "absent headlining" dept. £370 with two days left.

Hmmm... how much of these ace bikes is still Maggot though, eh?

I particularly like the red one, it reminds me of a Guzzi V50 Monza I once had (and thankfully DOESN'T remind me of the god-awful CX500 with barn-door fairing I also once had).

Jesus, that Nova is MEGA fit. It's also 1) not far from here and 2) very close to Furber's ace scrapyard.

This era of Farina is surely the greatest? The two tone paint and those rear lights/surrounds are just brill.

'doesnt include badge bar or tow bar at this buy it now price!'

Shove it up your arse.

Meh. I fucking hate those badge bars with owners club badges etc on them. Remind me of the stereotypical classic car show exhibitor.

Think I'd be more put off by the wavyness of the sills......

Nice little Fiat for a grand, 12 months MOT, couple of months tax.

No idea what special edition Schumacher is though ..

3308129.jpg

Series 1 Panda, may be a tad salty at a grand with no MOT, a dodgy carb and a couple of cosmetic issues, but when did you last see another one?

Victor estate, £1500 or best offer.

I can't see this hanging around long

He can't be serious with that statement? I wonder how many people have spat out their coffee when they've read that while looking for new family transport :D

Plymouth Volare station wagon

That's probably about the same size as the current Mondeo estate.

It's probably dwarfed by the new mini estate as well

A plate raped full of rot Farina .... Yes,thats going to be a right money pit

I'm glad this is on the Isle of Wight otherwise I'd be putting a cheeky bid on this leather clad T5 with full MOT and 3 months tax (£450 no bids 1 day to go)
