I used to think Zodiacs were as big as battleships. They're probably smaller than a Mazda 6.

Almost exactly the same size....

Someone over on the Facebook has just bought a Zodiac Farnham with a 2.9 Cossie engine as well as a matching caravan, bastard.

Bloody Nora!  Those things struggled for traction with a bog-standard Essex - I can see matey getting through a few sets of rear tyres with a BOA under the bonnet!

Fuck an actual duck.

That is identical to mine.

I wonder how many tanks of LPG the CX would use getting to Leyland and back with a trailer?

On the watch list, just to see what happens.  Too early a car for me for it to be of much use, probably the smaller engine I expect.  I'd only end up trying to save it too so.. yeah, probably better for Wuvvum to get this one and give us a report with pictures of it wobbling along behind the CX.

Which would then make ours appreciating assetts rather than millstones.

This is pretty much my perfect car right here. I think they have a real 'concept car' look in this colour, it's the highest trim level, the big engine and it's really cheap and ready to roll. I think I might die if I can't have it but cash is really tight at the moment... what the hell do I do? ???

Wow, that BX looks like it's worth going on the cadge for. It'd be well worth it I reckon.

It'll be the stupendously well written and informative add that's won you over. Or you want to do scientific research on what must surely be the world's most rust free Mercedes van.

That’s the best car ever. Stop thinking and buy it.

If the idea of a €700 overdraft extension brings an attack of angst, close your eyes and imagine grinding your fist into that lovely seat fabric. Sit back and fill your lungs with fusty brown particles. You’ve made it in life.

I'm driving back from Grenoble next Saturday morning. I can pick you up from Lyon airport...

No idea how much of a world of pain the head gasket is to do, but looks pretty good value to me.

That 75 looks nice, but I'm not getting another N/A 1.8 75, they are undergeared. Shame its not a Turbo one, I'd be well up for trying one of those.

Looks nice, not coming up on mot check wonder if the plates being removed before sale?

Appropriately gearboxed and upholstered, but most of all:

2.7 V6

Hence

Has LPG gas conversion.

Because of the OMGMPG, you know.

Also, it has a misfire on petrol as well as gas, hence I suspect it needs a set of new sparking plugs.

WCPGW?

But most unfortunately:

PLEASE NOTE.

APOLOGIES .  IT IS NOT A 2.7 it is 2.5. I'm sure everyone knows that and it's just me.

Good God, stop it with the 75s!

You guys are really tempting me!

Anybody near Newcastle want to buy a Xantia in a few months?

Dunno, the only one of these Laura Ashley meets Miss Marple kitsch cabinets on wheels tempting me would be one in chrome plated horse on inlet manifold flavour.
