So the worst diesel engine ever made, and with a whopping 150 horsepowers. And the world's slipperiest gearbox. Bet it sounds BOSS though

Hello, Stupid & Co Customs, anything you say, we're happy to spray

'ANYTHING I say?'

Yes, sir, ANYTHING.

'Ok, I'd like Scooby Do's sister after she'd been partially decapitated in a road crash, then set on fire'

No problem, chief. Anything else?

'Yes, I'd like her to be 'double entried' by a vicious Scytheoceraus dinosaur'

If I was in the market for a project, that Anglia would be top of the list.  It's the first one-litre car I would choose, over everything that came before or since. I have a very soft spot for them, with three in my childhood and one in adulthood.  But even that one was 35 years ago so despite the 99p start, I can see the grey one going for serious money.  OSF, innit!

GM sorted them out towards the end of production, much too late of course, any that survives today should be fine I think. They only delivered 105bhp (18bhp per litre!! an early XUD9 is 34bhp per litre), or 120bhp in some versions - but the emissions strangled petrol V8s of the time didn't produce much more power, while consuming double the fuel.

They do sound ace.

When I initially read this ad I though it was for an Oldsmobile Otter - which by rights should be in BV's thread.  I was disappointed to find out that no otters were being offered for sale.

Also disappointed to note that there is no mention of the tattooed lady in short shorts being part of the deal.
