The chassis will need to be welded in the usual areas (outriggers and chassis rails)

so, all of it.

However with the body lifted off, these cars are very repairable!

an easy and simple procedure you would expect to do on a two grand Herald.

Also the carpets are missing, the dash veneer is knackered, one of the seats has split, there's rust bubbling through all over, it needs four new tyres, one of the rear overriders is holed (and they're £80 each), etc etc

Being an early one it benefits from the chunky two spoke steering wheel for additional win.

Edit: posted the wrong link as I'm pissed. Fixed!

That is a nice car. I had a mk3 saloon in red (a 1.4i 8v mpi - not the diesel). Pity it was one of 3 mk3 astras I have written off.

There's always Ashworth Hospital Near Maghull, L39 - Home of the one of the Moors Murderers. Perhaps the owner could share a cell with him.

These early ones are mega, and it's in Dumfries so someone can start off the Scottish Transit Drivers group and spray 'MOBILE STD UNIT' down the sides.

They can stick as many retro 50s styled models next to it - but it wont detract from the fact that is a very average, very dour 80s mid capacity 4-stroke rice crispy thats had a bucket of overrated parts poured over it. and at silly Yen too.

Look at this eye-bending crock of shit being sold by 'Bradley James Classics'.

The car has a hood, but it either needs overhauling or ideally replacing.

No photos of the hood, as it will no doubt be one of those shitty home-made canvas tarpaulins with drinking straws for the hood frame that all these Mini convertibles seem to have.

Item condition:

Used

“in need of recomissioningâ€Â

just £5000! LOL

I think that Bradley James Classics purple mini skip pic should be a used as a warning to first time recoverers on how to attract attention from astute Traffic cops after badly securing a car.

This is very close to me.

Dunno what his pricing strategy is about. He had it up at the start of the summer for about 1200 iirc.

the ital is a lovely, or as lovely looking as an ital can be.

but 2700 europounds comes out at around £2K in proper money which seems a lot for an ital.

I love the upside down grille on these early Citroen C25's. flat-bottomed side windows too unlike my camper van. I would love to find a good one and use it as a daily driver - i grew to properly like driving my Fiat-powered one. This one looks prtty dismal but its only 400 quid.
