Yeah that's a load of shit, it's like me sticking a fucking ASTRA GTE badge on a nexia or vice versa, or maybe a Plymouth Tossbird   Pontiac Lemans badge on a mk2 astra or whatever they sold them as over there.

So they made a merkur in a different factory to usual for some reason, but then ripped the whole dash out, swapped that, the wiring loom, steering rack, brake servo etc etc, cut the bulkhead about, changed the bonnet, headlamps, bumpers, tailgate etc etc to make it look like a Granada, but they left a Merkur badge on?

Looks lovely doesn't it?? But the head gasket has failed :-(

 

£200, auction ends tomorrow. I hate to be pedantic , but. Seller is a MG Rover specialist and " suspects" head gasket failure he also " suspects" it needs a new battery. I mean if you are a Specialist , shouldn't you bloody well know ?
