It's 1200 quid, but certainly not honestly.

Blimey - just read over the description. The only vague justification I can find for that price is that it's a bit rare. The rest just reads like a list of tasks stretching into the next decade. 

 

Oh well, maybe they're only advertising to masochists.

Saw a mint one of these not so long back. Much better condition than this one. Owned a Mk3 for a while too (miss that car)

Yeah that's definitely one of the Flying Squad pursuit cars from 1972, ideal for catching blaggers in 3.0 Litre Capris and XJ12s.

Did any Police Force use little Farinas? Even when the 6/90's and 6/110s were common,it seems unlikely an auto 1622 would have found a place.presumably the seller is confusing the 999 number and seeing a big Wolesley Police car in an old film with reality.

^^^West Mercia Constabulary had 1622cc Farina Cambridges as "area cars", ie unmarked hacks, in the early '70s, until that rocket ship, the 1800cc Marina, came along.
