flippin great car that and it looks like it came up a treat with a bit of polish.  Also that's a great price given what I sold it for and what he's spent on it.

Shite Ace.

This one seems expensive, but they're quite nice to look at aren't they?

I remember nearly stacking one of these as a stupid 18 year old 100 metres from our factory.

I was pushing on the steering column instead of the brake as the bank on the opposite side of the road got closer and closer!

Someone has actually paid 1100 quid for that fucked Golf.

Similarly someone paid £1400 for his unfinished Fabia. Only one bid on each car makes me suspect they will both be relisted soon. As the Golf was bought at auction, has no history and the wear to the drivers seat would indicate a much higher mileage, I suspect it has had a haircut at some point, but maybe not by the advertising owner. A complete and utter shed, and I would like to know which mechanic charged £600 not to fix the brakes.

This looks... pleasant:

I think the log book was sent of as scraped 2 years ago

Q: I've contacted dvla in Swansea to check if it's possible to apply for a log book if it's been sent to them as scrap and they advised me to ask you to apply as it was peviously registered to you and would be a lot easier to get a v5

A: to be honest im selling it for a friend and he dosent want all the hassle he was told two years ago to scrap it by the original owners they want nothing to do with it

So there's three potential owners involved none of whom are the seller.

That sounds like a laugh riot to sort out.

an xj40 (xj80?) v12. or a mark X. but which is best?

there is only one way to find out, FIIIIIIIIGHT!

I think it is sufficiently clear that the older example is obviously better.

No fight necessary, issue solved.

Rah!

Think you mean 'bleugh'.  Or at the very least, 'huch'.

HOPELESS EBAY PROFITEER ALERT!

Previously listed at £300 bin.

Now for auction with a new seller:  Ã‚£395 start...  Of course, to justify the mark-up he's omitted mention of any specific defects in his description.

This has got me beading. I bet it's fucking mental to drive with that vitesse motor in it. The lack of MOT would have me worried though I'd want to give it a good poking with my poking stick stick so you don't get caught up in a weld fest.
