eBay tat volume 3.

That Metro got no bids at £900 on eBay last week, so of course they've upped the price and put it on the posh site.

I'm surprised it's not on KGF/4 star classic/myriad of other rip-off merchants for £9999.

that metro is also listed on the blue, and the thread says it is sold.

it is a real beauty though.

That Beetle framed thing has few similarities to ANYTHING.

I squinted and saw a Siata Spring

And got all excited.

As you were.

This advert seems a bit naughty. Lots of mentions of the specification of the original SSK but one line (and only one line) that gives it away is

No mention of it being a replica. Obviously it looks a bit shit as the front track is too wide and for reasons best known only to them they've used the beetle bumpers.

No one is fooled so be honest!

I know lots of people who would be fooled. My parents probably. My sister definitely. My sister in Law - not the blind one, because she can tell a beetle by the exhaust note, but the other one, who would describe it as a black car, or maybe dark blue, can't really say, but definitely maybe black.

That's how she described my RED mk2 cavalier to her parents.

Gahhh! This makes me want to cry. Must be super-rare (even has a bit of MOT) and some total groin has snapped the steering wheel off while attempting to steal the car (or perhaps they only wanted the 'wheel?). Seller seems quite mellow about it - I'd be livid!

How the fuck do you snap a steering wheel clean off?

By the power of idiocy.

Yep, I wouldn't laugh at the ignorance of others. After all, I wouldn't know an antique painting or furniture from a modern reproduction

You'd have to be pretty thick to buy that thinking it was the real thing and not at least asking someone or at least googling it. It's like some one selling a genuine Van Gogh painting for 30 grand but it was painted in ms paint.

What like the chap John Myatt who made a bomb selling forgeries done in household emulsion (until he was caught) and who still makes a living by selling genuine forgeries

I've always fancied one of these despite a friend owning one for quite some time and them being a complicated Renault.

This '77 Mustang reminds me of Henry

"Once, an engine attached to a train was afraid of a few drops of rain. It went into a tunnel, and squeaked through its funnel, and wouldn't come out again!"

So that's two on the bike and one in the sidecar, and you say you've bought your own caravan?
