McRae Impreza. Buy now, restore while parts are easy to get and keep safe as in 10 years it'll probably be worth a fucking fortune. This one is the press car too but it looks like the engines not original and it's been molested a bit.

I was vaguely tempted by the same Intrepid about 3 years ago.  They were by far the nicest cars I had on hire when frequently visiting the USA a while back.  LHD hugeness, common sense and a full driveway are still overcoming the temptation.

Lol.  No.  I like the Intrepid's looks and the way it drives, and the fact that the front drive V6 isn't transverse.

I found those Mk2 Dodge Intrepids a bit meh compared to the Mk1. Too Audi like I suppose.

Preferred the interior of the MK1s but the looks of the MK2.

I'm sorry that last Volvo is practically new, whereas the 240 is more my style, however being a later one it has a cataclysmic diverter on it which I try to avoid if possible, although for once it is within  a reasonably short distance from me

Is that a fabled SD1 1 and a 1/2 or has it just been knobbed around with?

Posted

It's just been knobbed around with - seats, rear badge, front spoiler/lights/grille from an S2.  Coachline upside down.  I can see the painted-over rusty bits at the base of the rear screen from here.  I'll be amazed if he gets anywhere near the asking price for that (although I'm a crap judge of these things).

As well as crimes against poor S1 SD1s, I have further taken against him/her on the grounds of appalling spelling.  Meh.

Sills should be black on that Rover. They never look quite right otherwise...

Your fundamental mistakes are that you neither slammed it, nor did you see fit to put a pineapple onto the roof.

As a consequence, you will have to continue to pay mortgage installments.
