Seeing this made me realise I haven't seen a Monterey for years, in fact most Troopers are Bignob Leghorn Handling by Lotus imports. So I looked on How Many Left, it reckons over a thousand Montereys on the road with 400 SORN, that's a lot considering there were only ever 4,000 of the feckers and most were 3.2 pez guzzlers- but where are they all?

Oh, here's the one I was looking for. Now, you've seen the beautiful asymmetrical Minx panel, here's the shittiest asymmetrical instrument panel ever:

Hey, how about a bunch of randomly placed warning lights of different styles, and a speedo with half the numbers missing placed off to the side to make way for a seatbelt warning light the size of a tennis ball. Why is the indicator light in that little box? Does it pop out for security like a radio faceplate?

 

I love Sierras, but god damn is this a horrible thing to look at.

While you would have to get it good and hot to make sure it is just a hose, that BMW 728 with the electric pack is a bargain.  Two hours of hammer work and about £150 would sort the suspension.

For a car that's done well north of half a million miles, that Skoda doesn't look bad, It's worn it's miles well anyway.
