I was trying to persuade the owner of this to swap it for my CL500 but no dice. I'm tempted to lob some cash in and see if I can tempt him.

I offered 200 for the bashed up knob van, he's counter-offered 350 which is still a bit rich for me. I will sleep on it and see how I feel tomorrow!!

Mr b - £350 is way too rich for that. I think your bang on at £200. If you must, throw another £50 squid in the ring otherwise enjoy your sleep and move on :-)

Those GLT wheels look the bollocks on, well, GLT's.

Always fancied a flying brick, should have found mesen a 240 turbo years ago.

Shit wheels aside I really like this. They're pretty quick too and a decent steer (so I hear). My dad had one for 10 years and never let me drive it once.

He has lowered the price a bit I see. I think he was asking £1,500 for it before, this is probably a bit more realistic? I don't visit RR very often but he was trying to swap it with every car on there the other week which would worry me a bit.

Its quite nice though, this shape are really starting to look good.

My Dad's one (the one I never got to drive) was white and it looked great. It eventually died of a porous cylinder head.

and with the right ECU unit (Harry Hockly) they will buzz to 10k!!!!

No.

The HH ecu is from the Avanzato, 4cyl 660cc turbo, that's a 3 pot 850cc na.

People mention a 10k rev limit on the rally Avanzato, but I don't think there was one, I definitely had mine up to 11k without hitting one.
