Here's today's personal Trademe faves:

You all know that S1 Land Rovers are often quite cheap over here and so it seems, are early Range Rovers (or at least their start price)

£1750 for an up and running one sounds pretty good for me. Let's see what it goes for.

For a bit more though, you can buy this ace 120Y wagon:

Or for a LOT less (£130 BIN!!!!) you can have this sexy genuine 70000km Regata!

Owner selling up due to erratic speedo. This did the rounds last year I think and was one for ages at a still cheap £750 or so, as I guess there's very little demand for mid-80's FWD Fiat sold in absolute minuscule numbers. Looked mint in the previous sale photos, so I give this car a Jon seal of approval, absolute diamond quality bargain.

I remember having a perve at this on Trade Me last year

Even though the cut off the only bits that dont rust on a 2 door classic

Cab looks quite drafty - shouldn't be long before drive is choking on fumes

Reasonably priced XM 2.5 TD from purveyors of overpriced XMs. I wanted one of these instead of the rival 2.5 diesel estate from Scandinavia I got, but Station's and dollywobbler's woes put me off a bit.

carnivorous boot space

NOT FOR VEGANS. At least it has velour seats.

So its registered as a 1200 beetle saloon, it has a 1600 engine fitted in 1993 but not declared and it is pretending to be a mercedes but 99% of the british population will think its an MG. Seems like a perfect Autoshite purchase........

TBH, he looks like he has put a lot of effort into it and actually spent some cash but will need to learn that spending money on cars does not always result in cash rewards. In fact he will probably come to learn in time like all of us that it pretty much never ever results in cash rewards.

THIS ^^^ With simple FleeBay exposure is it guys who break and advertise everything... down to the sun blind clips... that turn a ££

OR guys who advertise 'Breaking 99P, wheelnut' , all parts available, who get people to ask for a part.

OR are there wise people who know a bridged clunker has an 'unobtanium' Diff and sell for Megg££££ (Sierra D...)

Its obviously some young lad with big dreams. He will take a fall this time and maybe reallign his sights for future sales.

Yes, purveyors of way way overpriced XMs. Been doing this for some time now, I wonder what they actually sell for £££, if at all?

I remember when these could be pulled from front gardens in Sunderland for free, the rest of 'em were usually around £30.00 quid a go. Great, simple, reliable transport; nice.

There is a remote possibility of me delivering a car to nearby the location of this, and I would have this in a heartbeat. Should I just say buy me this and forget my travel costs ?

I commented to my colleague at work yesterday after seeing the ad for that cheap Xm, that Dirty Harry's words came to mind- do you feel lucky punk?
