eBay tat volume 3.

The mention of it having been painted black and repainted sandglow brings a dusty memory to the fore. Did this not belong to someone one here who pressure washed a previous roller paintjob off it? Even with the problems listed it seems keenly priced at £400 for a mk1 Maxi.

"No Reserve" so could be a steal....maybe....

"Wandlitz, the preferred home town of politicians, is nicknamed Volvograd."

Volvograd? Oh those Germans and their sense of humour. Apparently the ones that were more equal than the rest were using GAZ Chaika's prior to these, what a step up!

Doesn't that thing above look like the Car  in the horror movie! :)

You'd think someone selling something as rare as that would have a bit more than a short sentence to write!

I say it would be more appropriate for Glasgow nowadays.

Coat subsequently gotten...

Quote from the ad:

These 264 TE's are powered by a smooth and powerful 2.7 L V6 engine that were designed to provide Volvo's well earned reputation for reliability and long service life.

Ah. It must be a different type of PRV v6, I always thought they were a complete boat anchor of an engine

Even though my son works for JLR (he's now moved over to Jags) and has been heavily involved in the new FFRR and Sport and the others, I can honestly say, I dislike Range Rovers and their derivitives with a passion.

Been looking through the classic cars on e-Bay and the prices dealers are asking are a fooking joke! No bargains anywhere :(

Its obviously some young lad with big dreams. He will take a fall this time and maybe reallign his sights for future sales.

TBH, he looks like he has put a lot of effort into it and actually spent some cash but will need to learn that spending money on cars does not always result in cash rewards. In fact he will probably come to learn in time like all of us that it pretty much never ever results in cash rewards.
